Rampart Withdraws Appeal of USPTO’s Invalidation Decision

ST. PAUL, Minn., Aug. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Egg Medical announced today that Rampart IC, LLC (“Rampart”) withdrew its appeal of the USPTO’s reexamination decision that the claims of Rampart’s U.S. Patent No. 11, 660,056 as originally granted were invalid. The USPTO’s invalidation is based on grounds that the inventions in the issued ‘056 Patent were either previously invented by, or simply obvious variants of work, by others, including Egg Medical.

The claims that are likely to survive the reexamination resulted from Rampart making material limitations to the originally issued claims, thus narrowing the ‘056 Patent.

The reexamination of the ‘056 Patent was requested by Egg Medical after Rampart sued Egg Medical for infringement of the original ‘056 Patent in U.S. District Court. Egg Medical has not sought conflict with Rampart. However, in light of Rampart’s actions, Egg Medical has given notice of its earlier patent and demanded that Rampart cease and desist its infringing activities of Egg Medical’s patent.

Egg Medical Chief Executive Officer, Robert Wilson commented, “Protection of inventorship is important. We thank the Patent Office for a comprehensive re-examination of the Rampart patent. The invalidation of the original ‘056 Patent claims and the possible issuance of narrowed claims that do not cover any of our product line reinforces the integrity of the US patent system.”

Gavin Philips, Egg Medical’s Chief Commercial Officer added, “Egg Medical will continue to invest in what really matters to our customers, namely, the technology that has defined the Enhanced Radiation Protection Device category: whole-room, scatter reduction that protects the entire procedural team without construction, without rolling trip-hazards, or workflow interruptions.”

About Egg Medical

Egg Medical is a global leader in radiation protection, founded with the goal of reducing the radiation exposure of healthcare workers who use x-ray imaging to perform life-saving diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients.

Bitget Expands CFD Business with Institutional-Grade Liquidity Solutions

Bitget Expands CFD Business with Institutional-Grade Liquidity Solutions

Bitget Expands CFD Business with Institutional-Grade Liquidity Solutions

VICTORIA, Seychelles, Aug. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has expanded its CFD business with the launch of Institutional-Grade Liquidity Solutions, a dedicated offering for quantitative trading teams, proprietary trading firms (Prop Firms), funds, retail brokers, and high-net-worth professional traders. The solution brings together 100% Straight-Through Processing (STP), deep multi-tier liquidity, sub-millisecond order matching, and FIX API connectivity for clients managing large-volume and automated trading strategies.

The launch comes as automation plays a growing role in global trading. Quantitative strategies, high-frequency trading, futures-spot arbitrage, and Expert Advisor (EA) models place different demands on execution compared with typical retail activity. At higher volumes and frequencies, market depth, order routing, latency, and connectivity to proprietary systems can have a direct impact on execution quality.

Bitget has built the new offering around a 100% STP execution model. Orders are routed directly to external liquidity pools without manual dealing intervention, giving clients a clear path from order submission to the underlying liquidity provider. The model is designed for firms running sustained order flow and strategies that require consistent market access across different conditions.

Bitget aggregates liquidity across institutional sources, including Tier-1 banks and non-bank market makers, with multiple levels of market depth available to clients. For firms placing larger orders or executing continuously, deeper order books can help reduce slippage and market impact when the liquidity available at the top of the book cannot absorb the full trade at a single price. Bitget’s trading servers are deployed in major financial data centres, including London (LD4) and Tokyo (TY3), with dedicated networks and direct fibre connectivity supporting sub-millisecond order matching. The solution also supports FIX API, allowing quantitative teams, brokers, and other institutional clients to connect existing proprietary systems, bridges, and liquidity aggregators directly to Bitget’s CFD environment.

“As trading becomes more automated and sophisticated, the quality of the infrastructure behind every trade becomes increasingly important,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “Professional traders need consistent execution, deep liquidity and reliable connectivity to run their strategies effectively at scale. With our institutional liquidity offering, we are strengthening the foundation of our CFD business to serve these clients better and support the next stage of Bitget’s growth across global markets.”

Client assets are segregated from Bitget’s operational funds and held through independent custody accounts, alongside compliance reviews and third-party auditing standards. This framework provides institutional clients with greater visibility into how assets are managed as they scale their activity on the platform.

The launch broadens Bitget’s CFD offering as the company continues to develop its multi-asset trading ecosystem. Retail users will be able to access Bitget’s standard CFD environment through the App, Web, and MT5, while institutional clients can use a dedicated setup built for higher-volume strategies, deeper liquidity requirements, and direct system connectivity. The expansion allows Bitget to serve a wider range of trading activity as its CFD business grows globally.

Axi Select Hosts Exclusive Madrid Gathering for Pro M Traders and Axi Leadership

Axi Select Pro M traders joined Axi senior leadership and team members in Madrid for an exclusive event celebrating their achievements and the community behind Axi Select.

SYDNEY, Aug. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ten of Axi Select’s $1M funded Pro M traders gathered in Madrid this July for an exclusive experience that brought together achievement, mentorship and meaningful dialogue with Axi’s executive leadership.

Having reached the prestigious Pro M tier (the highest level within Axi Select’s capital allocation programme), the traders travelled from across the globe to take part in an invitation-only event designed to recognise their success and strengthen the relationship between Axi and its top-performing trading talent.

Rather than a traditional conference or awards ceremony, the Madrid meet-up focused on genuine connection. At the heart of the programme were intimate fireside discussions, with Axi CEO Rajesh Yohannan and COO Gavin Ward, giving traders the opportunity to discuss their personal journeys, the realities of managing funded capital and the evolving demands of modern trading.

The discussions moved well beyond market strategies. Participants shared how trading with allocated capital differs psychologically from trading personal funds, the discipline required to remain consistently profitable, and the lessons learned while progressing through Axi Select’s funding milestones. The conversations became a genuine exchange of ideas, with Axi’s leadership hearing directly from the traders helping shape the future of funded trading.

Throughout the event, formal sessions were balanced with opportunities for informal conversation, including shared meals, one-to-one discussions, and social activities that allowed traders and executives to connect away from presentations and meeting rooms.

Rajesh Yohannan, Chief Executive Officer at Axi said:

“Spending time with the Pro M traders in Madrid reminded me that behind every funding milestone is a person who has put in years of discipline backed by enormous self-belief. Axi Select exists to back that kind of talent, and events like this keep us close to the people we’re building it for.”

Bitget Reports 18x Growth in rToken Trading Activity as Tokenized Markets Mature in July

Bitget Reports 18x Growth in rToken Trading Activity as Tokenized Markets Mature in July

Bitget Limited

VICTORIA, Seychelles, Aug. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has released its July 2026 Transparency Report, highlighting growing adoption of tokenized financial markets as users increasingly incorporated tokenized equities into broader trading and investment strategies. The report also outlines continued expansion across unified trading infrastructure, AI-powered investing, institutional products and onchain finance as tokenized assets become more deeply integrated into digital markets.

The month saw rToken surpassing US$100 million in assets under management within five weeks of launch, reaching approximately US$114 million by July 6. During the same period, cumulative trading volume reached US$671.37 million, including average daily trading volume of US$19.75 million, with more than 100,000 users trading rTokens. The report also found daily trading-user penetration increasing 18-fold from launch, while 42.87% of first-time buyers increased their positions within seven days, reflecting growing engagement beyond initial purchases.

Industry research published during the month reinforced Bitget’s position across trading infrastructure. CryptoRank found that Bitget recorded the lowest slippage for large tokenized equity trades and the highest balanced displayed liquidity within 50 basis points among the exchanges analysed. The CoinGlass 2026 Derivatives Market Report ranked Bitget second globally for ETH liquidity depth with US$81.37 million in order-book depth and fourth globally for BTC liquidity depth, while TokenInsight reported nearly US$70 billion in TradFi perpetual trading volume on Bitget during Q2 2026.

“Tokenized assets are only as strong as the market behind them. Investors don’t care how many assets an exchange lists if they can’t trade them efficiently.,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “DeFiLlama latest research shows that Bitget delivers the deepest liquidity and execution for tokenized equities among the exchanges evaluated. As adoption grows, that’s what will decide which platforms investors continue to trust.”

Beyond market activity, Bitget continued to expand the infrastructure supporting tokenized finance. During July, the exchange enabled more than 100 tokenized U.S. stocks to be used as collateral within its Unified Trading Account, introduced GetAgent Playbook to extend AI-powered trading into tokenized investing, and released an institutional cross-asset collateral playbook exploring capital efficiency across crypto and tokenized assets.

Bitget Wallet also surpassed 100 million users, expanding stablecoin payment connectivity and tokenized asset access through new integrations including Robinhood Chain and Assetback. Beyond product development, Bitget expanded its Blockchain4Youth partnership with UNICEF’s Game Changers Coalition from eight to eleven countries, extending blockchain, AI and financial literacy education to more young people worldwide.

The July Transparency Report reflects the continued evolution of tokenized markets as users increasingly integrate tokenized assets into active trading, portfolio management and cross-asset investing. The report reflects Bitget’s continued investment in market infrastructure, liquidity and institutional products, as tokenized finance becomes more integrated across retail and institutional markets.

  • First commercial agreement builds on the companies’ partnership to accelerate AI-powered transportation

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates and SEOUL, South Korea, Aug. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Space42 (ADX: SPACE42), the UAE-based AI-powered SpaceTech company, and Autonomous A2Z (A2Z), South Korea’s leading autonomous driving company, have signed a commercial agreement valued at US$7 million to deploy Level-4 mobility solutions in the UAE. This is the first commercial agreement in the two companies’ broader partnership. It is a direct supply contract, separate from the joint venture announced in 2025 to support the long-term commercialization of intelligent mobility solutions in the UAE.

The agreement combines A2Z’s proven Level-4 autonomous driving technology with Space42’s AI, geospatial, and connectivity capabilities. For A2Z, the milestone represents a significant step in its international expansion strategy, bringing Korean-developed autonomous driving technology to one of the world’s fastest-growing smart mobility markets. For Space42, it advances the company’s sectorial priority to enable safe and reliable driverless vehicle operations at scale.

Hasan Al Hosani, CEO of Smart Solutions at Space42, said: “Autonomous mobility is critical infrastructure for smart city development. The UAE has created the conditions for its integration within everyday transport, and our focus is to turn that ambition into a dependable service that moves people seamlessly, aligned with world-class safety standards. Working with A2Z brings us closer to establishing a model that serves the UAE and responds to the market’s changing transport needs.”

Han Ji-hyung, CEO of Autonomous A2Z, stated: “This agreement demonstrates that autonomous driving technology developed and validated in Korea is ready for international deployment. Together with Space42, we look forward to bringing proven autonomous mobility solutions to the UAE and expanding into global markets.”

Pilot Robo-Shuttle services using A2Z’s ‘ROii’, alongside other modified and retrofitted autonomous vehicles, will undergo operational testing and demand assessment, followed by an expected expansion into Demand-Responsive Transport (DRT) and tourism shuttle operations. The phased rollout will provide invaluable road-based operational insights, to support future growth across additional transport use cases.

Supporting the UAE’s smart mobility vision

The project aligns with the UAE’s broader vision to advance AI-enabled transportation and intelligent mobility, as part of its National Smart Mobility Strategy. The project also builds on Space42’s portfolio of mobility solutions, including TXAI, an autonomous taxi service that has traveled more than 600,000 kilometers across 20,000 trips with zero recorded accidents since operations began in 2021.

Demonstrating South Korean autonomous driving technology on the global stage

The agreement marks one of A2Z’s largest international deployments, demonstrating the global competitiveness of South Korea’s autonomous driving technology. The company has conducted autonomous driving trials across 13 cities and provinces in Korea and operates 91 permitted autonomous vehicles with more than 1.02 million kilometers of cumulative driving experience, spanning software development, vehicle integration, fleet operations, and service management.

The development follows several years of collaboration between Korea and the UAE, supported by government initiatives in technology development, testing, and market entry. Commercial execution was led by A2G (Autonomous to Global), A2Z’s Singapore-based joint venture with Kilsa Global.
