Tô LSm Receives Lao Inspection Authority Chairman

Hanoi: At the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hanoi, Mr. Tô LSm, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, received Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh, Politburo Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, President of the State Inspection Authority and Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Authority of the Lao PDR. According to Lao News Agency, the meeting occurred during Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh's official visit and working trip to Vietnam. Mr. Tô LSm extended a warm welcome to Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh and the high-level Lao delegation, emphasizing the significance of the visit in reinforcing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the Parties, States, and peoples of Laos and Vietnam. Mr. Tô LSm commended the close cooperation between the i nspection bodies of both countries and encouraged ongoing exchanges of experiences and lessons learned, particularly in the areas of inspection, supervision, and anti-corruption efforts. He also highlighted the need for further improvement in the quality and effectiveness of inspection personnel. Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh expressed his gratitude for the warm and respectful reception. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Party, State, and people of Laos to preserving, strengthening, and continuously deepening the long-standing, stable, and comprehensive relations between Laos and Vietnam.
