Vietnamese Leader To Lam to Attend 50th National Day Celebration in Laos

Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam, along with his spouse and a high-ranking delegation, is set to embark on a state visit to Laos. The visit is scheduled for December 1-2, during which To Lam will participate in a ceremony celebrating the 50th National Day of Laos. According to Lao News Agency, the Vietnamese leader's agenda includes co-chairing a high-level meeting between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party. This meeting aims to strengthen the ties between the two parties and discuss key areas of mutual interest. The visit comes in response to an invitation extended by General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and his spouse. The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the visit, highlighting its significance in fostering the longstanding relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
