Vientiane:The Association of Vietnamese People in Vientiane organized a pickleball tournament on October 25 to commemorate Vietnam's Great National Solidarity Day on November 18. This event aimed to enhance connections among Vietnamese expatriates residing in Laos.

According to Lao News Agency, the tournament also set the stage for the upcoming 12th Congress of the Association of Vietnamese People in Vientiane, scheduled for early November, and the fourth Congress of the General Association of Vietnamese People in Laos, anticipated in late December.

It provided a platform for community members to engage, exchange experiences, and strengthen their bonds, thereby promoting national pride and the Vietnamese cultural identity.

The tournament featured eight teams from hometown clubs and Vietnamese businesses in Laos. After a series of thrilling group-stage and knockout matches, the Hanoi hometown club team emerged victorious, claiming the championship title.
