Vietnam always attaches importance to and looks to strengthen the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with the Dominican Republic, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son told a Dominican guest. During a June 11 reception for General Secretary of the United Left Movement (MIU) Party and Minister of Regional Integration Policies of the Dominican Republic Miguel Mejia, who is on a working visit to Vietnam, Son highly valued the Dominican Republic’s government for appointing a resident ambassador to Vietnam in 2022 and opening its embassy in the country in 2023.
