A member of the UNESCO Executive Council, Vietnam always supports the organisation’s role in promoting education globally, Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Vietnam’s Permanent Representative to the UN, said on May 15. At an ambassador-level session of the Group of Friends for Education and Lifelong Learning in New York, Giang also spoke highly of the group’s efforts in pushing ahead with contents and commitments relating to education.
