SG Thongloun Receives National Day Congratulations from Vietnamese Counterpart.

Vientiane: On Dec 1, Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and State President Thongloun Sisoulith received a phone call from To Lam, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The call marked Vietnam's congratulatory gesture on the 49th Anniversary of the Lao PDR. According to Lao News Agency, the discussion also provided an opportunity to review and strengthen bilateral relations between Laos and Vietnam. During the conversation, Mr. To Lam extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes, commending the remarkable achievements of the Lao Party, government, and multi-ethnic people over the past 49 years. He expressed confidence in the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, predicting continued success in implementing the resolutions of the 11th Party Congress and achieving the goals outlined in the 9th National Socio-Economic Development Plan (2021-2025). Additionally, he expressed hope for the successful convening of the 12th National Congress of the Lao P eople's Revolutionary Party. Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith expressed his gratitude for the exchange, highlighting that it reflects the enduring friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.
