Vientiane:Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith received Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam on October 5, 2026, marking a significant diplomatic engagement following his recent appointment as Prime Minister of the Lao PDR.
According to Lao News Agency, during the meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tam conveyed congratulations from the Vietnamese Government and presented a bouquet of flowers to Prime Minister Saleumxay. The Ambassador expressed Vietnam’s confidence in Mr. Saleumxay’s leadership, acknowledging the trust placed in him by the Party Central Committee, National Assembly, and the Lao people.
