According to Lao News Agency, President Thongloun conveyed profound condolences and sincere sympathy on behalf of the Government and people of the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The message extended to the Government and people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, with a specific mention of the families of the victims affected by the natural disaster. President Thongloun also expressed confidence in the leadership of Acting President Delcy Rodríguez and the resilience of the Venezuelan people. He noted that with the support of the international community, Venezuela would successfully overcome the aftermath of the disaster and restore the livelihoods of affected communities at the earliest opportunity.
