Party, State Leaders Participate in Art Program Celebrating National Reunification Day

Hanoi: On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, Vietnam Television hosted an artistic program themed “Vang mai khuc khai hoan” (Everlasting triumph) across three locations: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Quang Tri province, on the evening of April 27. The program was a tribute to the historic event of April 30, 1975, which marked a significant milestone in the nation’s history.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event saw the participation of several high-profile leaders. President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man were present at the program, each attending at one of the three different locations. Their presence underscored the importance of the occasion and highlighted the unity and collective memory shared by the Vietnamese people.

The program featured an array of artistic performances designed to honor the spirit of reunification and triumph. It served as a reminder of the shared history and resilience that have shaped Vietnam over the past five decades.
