The 24-hour anti-drug operation launched in this city resulted in the confiscation of over PHP3.3 million worth of shabu. The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO), in a statement on Tuesday, said the series of operations that started 4 a.m. Monday seized approximately 486 grams of shabu and arrested seven drug suspects The largest haul was in Barangay General Hughes, City Proper District, where cops arrested a 46-year-old high-value suspect identified as alias "Lan" and confiscated 305 grams of shabu valued at more than PHP2.07 million. A separate buy-bust operation in Molo district arrested another high-value individual identified as alias "Neneng." Operatives seized from her possession 170 grams of shabu worth more than PHP1.15 million. Three anti-drug operations in Barangay Bo. Obrero, Lapuz District; Barangay Concepcion, City Proper; and Barangay Kasing-Kasing, Molo apprehended five other suspects and seized over PHP64,000 worth of shabu.
