CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: The Department of Trade and Industry in the Northern Mindanao Region (DTI-10) began its weeklong celebration of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Week on Monday with regional traders who want to adapt to digital innovations.

A total of 54 MSMEs from the provinces of Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental and Misamis Oriental will join Batch 2 of DTI-10’s Kapatid Mentor Me-Money, Market, Encounter (KMME-MME) program starting July 9.

Industry leaders John Paul Lanot and Adriano Pastoriza will give the participants lectures from the two modules.

Lanot will discuss the entrepreneurial mindset and values formation, while Pastoriza will share the marketing mindset.

Almer Masillones, DTI-10 officer-in-charge assistant director, said that annual exhibits are one way to promote local businesses, especially those that have benefited from the agency’s mentoring programs.

“We extend our full support in collaborating with you as you navigate the world of e-commerce and
logistics,” she said.

The KMME-MME is a 12-week mentoring program in partnership with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship, where mentees are equipped with the mindset and the appropriate knowledge to scale up their businesses.
