Incumbent and former leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee paid floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on August 30 on the occasion of the 79th National Day (September 2). The same day, many delegations from ministries, sectors and Hanoi city also paid homage to President Ho Chi Minh.
