Vientiane: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Anouphap Vongnorkeo, signed the book of condolence on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in the Lao PDR on October 28, 2025.
According to Lao News Agency, the condolence message expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and Mr. Vongnorkeo personally. The message emphasized the tremendous and irreplaceable loss for the Thai people and highlighted Queen Sirikit’s role as a beloved and respected friend of the Lao people. Her Majesty’s efforts in fostering close relations and strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Laos and Thailand were acknowledged.
