Vientiane: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has issued a nationwide fuel price adjustment across the country, introducing increases across all major categories starting at 6:00 AM on Thursday, 3 September 2026.
According to Lao News Agency, official retail rates indicate that premium gasoline saw the steepest rise, while diesel prices experienced a slight upward revision.
Updated Retail Prices (Lao Kip / Liter):
Premium Gasoline: 38,170 LAK (+790 Kip)
Regular Gasoline: 32,100 LAK (+660 Kip)
Diesel: 31,840 LAK (+20 Kip)
The ministry regularly updates the domestic retail fuel pricing structure to reflect shifts in international petroleum markets, import costs, and exchange rate fluctuations.
