Mr. SengphetHungbounyong, Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to Vietnam presents appointment to Lao Ambassador AGOSTINHO ANDRÉ DE CARVALHO FERNANDESambassador on Sept 23, to be appointed Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to the Lao PDR with an Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam.
AGOSTINHO ANDRÉ DE CARVALHO FERNANDES ambassador expressed warmly welcome to the Lao Ambassador and congratulated him on appointment. To be submitted to Mr. Thongloun Sisoulit, President of the Lao PDR in Vientiane due to the outbreak of Kovit-19 virus.
The Ambassador also affirmed that he will make every effort to promote the friendly relations and good cooperation between the Republic of Angola and the Lao PDR to take a step forward.
On this occasion, Mr Senghet Hungbounyong welcomed and congratulated AGOSTINHO ANDRÉ DE CARVALHO FERNANDES on his appointment as Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to the Lao PDR.
At this meeting, the two sides agreed to work closely to further strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as the two diplomatic missions to take a step forward and bring real benefits to both countries.
The Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Angola established diplomatic relations on July 11, 1980.
