Gadon to host show discussing gov’t programs over PTV

MANILA: Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation Larry Gadon is set to host his own show on state-run People’s Television Network (PTV), called “Larry Gadon Live.”

During the Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon public briefing on Tuesday, Gadon said his show will discuss the programs and achievements of the government, as well as the pressing issues and trending topics in the country.

Gadon said public officials from different government agencies will also be invited to inform the public about the services and programs they offer.

Gadon highlighted that the TV show will include an entertainment segment in which guests will be invited to sing along with him.

He said the concept of the show was discussed with Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil and Presidential Assistant for Strategic Communications Cesar Chavez to help disseminate to the public the accomplishments and plans of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

“Ang maaasahan ng ating mga kababayan dito ay iyong mga paliwanag kung ano-ano a
ng mga ginagawa ng iba’t ibang mga ahensiya ng pamahalaan at kung anu-ano ang kanilang mga naitutulong sa ating mga kababayan (Our fellow Filipinos can expect a clear explanation of what the government agencies are doing and the various services that they provide to the public),” Gadon said.

“Larry Gadon Live” will air every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noontime starting May 29.
