Vietnamese Ambassador to Tanzania Vu Thanh Huyen has told the host Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation January Yusuf Makamba her wish for the early opening of the East African nation’s representative agency in Vietnam. The suggestion was made as the diplomat presented a copy of her credentials to the minister on May 22. Huyen pledged efforts to propel the countries’ friendship for the sake of their peoples and proposed ways to expand bilateral cooperation in various sectors, particularly politics, economy-trade, and collaboration at multilateral forums.
