The Government and people of Cambodia have donated 200,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine Sinovac to the Lao PDR to support control and containment efforts against Covid-19 in the country.
The handover ceremony took place at the Phong Nok Khien-Tra Ping Krien International Border Checkpoint on Sep 28 between Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia Ouch Borits, and Minister of Health of the Lao PDR, Dr Bounphaeng Phoummalaisit, in the presence of relevant officials of both sides.
