The 11th Vietnamese Ambassador’s Golf Cup has been held in Genappe town of Belgium, aiming to raise funds for Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims in Hoi An city, the central province of Quang Nam. The event, jointly organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Belgium and Chris Geyskens, Chairwoman of the Belgium chapter of the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange (VAVA) in Hoi An, drew the participation of 62 golfers from Belgium, Vietnam and Luxembourg. An exchange of 30 businessmen, diplomats, Vietnamese, and Belgian friends was also held within the framework of the event. A total of 307.4 million VND (12,114 USD) was raised during last year’s tournament.
