New York:Mr. Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, is set to lead a high-level Lao delegation at the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States.

According to Lao News Agency, the delegation’s participation is scheduled from September 21 to 26, 2026, and includes attending related side meetings.

The Lao delegation will engage in discussions at the General Assembly session, focusing on key international and regional issues and fostering cooperation with the global community.
