instantly hired as a micro-finance loan officer, a job he will be holding on to while preparing his documents to join the police force.

‘I can now help my family and support my sibling’s schooling,’ said Latoza, who is the third among four siblings.

He said his effort to join the job fair has paid off.

Aside from the job fair, DOLE also released PHP10.94 million as salary of 2,091 beneficiaries of its emergency employment program, during a simultaneous payout in the towns of Maasin, Pototan, Lambunao, and Estancia, and Iloilo City.
